Sciortino Customs is owned and operated by Michael Sciortino, a craftsman whose connection to the automotive and restoration trades spans generations. Raised within a family business built on traditional craftsmanship, Michael began learning the trade at an early age, developing the skills, discipline, and attention to detail that would become the foundation of his work. His family's craftsmanship can be traced back to the late 1800s in Italy, carrying with it a tradition of working with one's hands and taking pride in the finished result.

 

After leaving the family business, Michael established Sciortino Customs with a singular focus: the restoration and coachbuilding of exceptional automobiles. His approach is rooted in traditional craftsmanship, with an emphasis on authenticity, precision, and respect for the automobile's original character.

 

Today, Michael brings together generations of knowledge with his own experience and techniques, approaching each automobile as an individual project rather than simply another restoration. From metal shaping and aluminum work to fiberglass, bodywork, paint, and coachbuilding, the goal remains the same—to preserve what makes each automobile special while returning it to the level of craftsmanship it deserves.
